Dansko Sandals, a South Coast-based fashion retailer, has raised $3.3 million in a Series B round led by investment firm TD Ameritrade.
The round included the sale of sandals brand Danskin.
The company’s sandals are now available in more than 50 countries and in more stores across North America and Europe.
The company is currently selling a collection of sandal styles, including sandals in black, white, yellow, blue, purple and grey, which includes a range of styles including casual sandals and sandals with the classic logo.
Dansko is also working with the Adidas Originals brand, the second-largest shoe brand in the world, to develop an exclusive range of sandaled footwear that are made from the company’s signature leather and suede, which are designed to withstand the elements.
Danskaas new shoe line, Sandals for Danskins, is available in stores and online.
Daneskin, founded in 1990 in the northern Finnish city of Tampere, produces a line of casual sandal shoes and sandal accessories that are worn at home, at work and in sport.
